This photograph was taken at Smith Photography, 305 Genessee Avenue, East Saginaw, Michigan. The date is c. 1890's. The caption on the photo reads, "Minnie Sonsmith, wife of William." Read the Obituary: Minnie's obituary was printed in the Saginaw Courier Herald on April 24, 1898, page 7. It reads as follows: Minnie Wilhelmina, beloved wife, of William Snider, died at 7:45 0'clock yesterday morning at their residence, corner of Annesley and Eleventh streets, of lung trouble. She was 30 years of age, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Sonsmith, and was born and brought up in this city, where she had many friends. She was a member of Allemania hive No. 11, L.O.T.M., and United Friends of Michigan, No. 37, under whose auspices the funeral will take place. She leaves behind her husband, one son, 9 years of age, her father and mother, three sisters and two brothers to mourn her early demise. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 1:30 from the residence, and at 2 o'clock from St. John's Lutheran church, Rev. Frederick Volt officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn.
