Samuel LEPPERT September 9, 1865 - October 10, 1925 You are here: Photo Albums • LEPPERT • Samuel Samuel was the youngest of 6 children born to Johannes and Dorothea (GEYER) LEPPERT. Both of his parents were born in Germany. Samuel was 6 years (to the day) younger than his closest sibling. He was born in Dilsboro, Indiana but all of his brothers and sisters were born in Pomeroy, Ohio. He married Margaret STOLL in Brownstown, Indiana on November 14, 1885. Together they had 6 children. The first 5 children were born in Indiana and the youngest, Lulu, was born in Ida Grove, Iowa. Sometime while their children were still young, the family moved "out West" to Oregon. All of the children apparently stayed West as Thea, Everette, John David and Lulu all died in Oregon. Earl, the oldest, died in Washington state. The only exception was Ivan who died in Saginaw, Michigan. However, I suspect that John David must have lived in Michigan near brother Ivan for a while as they married sisters from Saginaw.
