Died suddenly of a
heart attack at his home Friday, May 16, 1980. Funeral services were
held at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church where he was a member. He
was buried in the Mansfield Cemetery on Monday, May 19th. He was born
Jan. 18, 1944, in Omaha, Neb. He was a 1962 graduate of Saginaw High
School and graduated from the Kellogg Community College in Battle
Creek. He was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Mansfield
General Hospital. He had been previously employed at Saginaw
Osteopathic Hospital and the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He married Reba
Kay Emmert, formerly of Marshall, MI, Jan. 19, 1974. She survives
him. He also leaves a daughter, Danny Jo, at home; his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Warren F. Kent Sr.,
Saginaw; his maternal grandmother, Mrs.
Ethel Leppert, Saginaw; a brother, Warren
F. Kent Jr., Middleton, MI; three sisters, Rilla
M. Kent (Mrs. Earl Hibbs), Garland, Tex.; Mrs.
Stanley (Kathy) Dulaney, Bay City; Miss
Carol L. Kent, Grass Lake, MI; several aunts, uncles, nieces
and nephews. Those who so desire may make memorials to the Muscular
Dystrophy Association in lieu of flowers. |
