Charlotte Ann GRIERSON September 7, 1881 - October 14, 1962 You are here: Photo Albums • GRIERSON • Charlotte Ann Charlotte was born in Goderich, Ontario, Canada in 1881 and moved to Saginaw, Michigan with her family in 1899. She was a graduate of Saginaw General Hospital School of Nursing, class of May 1921. She served at Saginaw General as a head nurse with the nickname "Chief." She retired in 1953 as instructed by her doctor. She was 73 years of age. The following was taken from the yearbook of the 1921 graduating class of Saginaw General Hospital School of Nursing: "This is the year we have been waiting for, and at last it is here. We are nearly graduates, taking a few last touches to make us the finished product. Our history hasn't proved startling but now comes our opportunity."
