You are here: Photo Albums BOUCHEY Emma Caroline Emma was born in Canada and moved to Michigan with her parents when she was just a child. She met her husband, John ARCHAMBOULT, in Clare, Michigan. Coincidentally, he was also a Canadian. Emma had been Roman Catholic all of her life, but when she decided to marry John (a Protestant) she ceased to practice Catholicism. She had seen what problems this type of mixed religion had caused in marriages of some of her relatives and decided that this was not for her. After her marriage she always attended the Methodist Church in Clare. ~Written by Wayne EASTMAN based on facts outlined in a 1969 taped interview of Emma's daughter Margaret (ARCHAMBOULT) ARCHANGELI.
